On my show this month:
A 3-hour extravaganza from Pete this month after skiving off in April, with some great big dollops of music from long-time faves REVBJELDE, Half Man Half Biscuit , Istanbul Hippodrome, DXIII, Gnod and Jumble Hole Clough . There's the first release in a long time from Loop, (sort of) new stuff from Suicide and Sonic Youth , virus-bashing dub from King Jammy , and Black Midi take on King Crimson - and win! We also have dub from Ukraine and Uruguay, hard bop from post-war London, funky rare grooves from Africa, tech-house from Tibet and more in-the-red garage noise from Detroit's amazing 208 .
On the show NEXT month:
Summer looks like it might be poking its head out soon, so here's a couple of hours worth of tunes to get things moving. There's warm new tunes from Jason Beers , Psychedelic Porn Crumpets , Spiritualized , Japenese Television and Ty Segal, some Nigerian funk and Korean Psych, and we discover The John Denver Airport Conspiracy as well as Air Max '97 and Large Plants. We also look back to the earlier days of the recently-deceased Vangelis with a huge tune from Greek prog-psych legends Aphrodite's Child .

Biography:
My name is Pete. Some call me Bigpete. But not many. I used to be one of the resident DJs at the late, lamented Gravy Train in the pulsing heart of North West England, Newton-Le-Willows.
When I was there, I liked to play great music, old and new, from The Undertones to Hot Chip, but somehow always ended up playing Stone Roses tracks to pissed up lads in football shirts.
Now I've become a DJ for Dandelion Radio, and if there are pissed up lads in football shirts listening, I can't tell, so I can play music by My Bloody Valentine, Sebastian and Foals and nobody will threaten to hit me.
If you have something for me to play then get in touch.
