Andrew Morrison - April 2019
Andy returns to Dandelion Radio for the first time since November and fully intends to begin making up for lost time, with new and recently released music including Mark Peters, The Joy Formidable, Cherry Glazerr, Epic45, The Twilight Sad and Malcolm Middleton. Other show highlights include a brand new single from John Peel favourites Melys (their first release in nearly 14 years), and the first two excellent 7-inch singles released as part of Sonic Cathedral Records' monthly Singles Club.

Andy also pays tribute to his father Barry and longstanding Dandelion Radio supporter Bob Beckett, both of whom sadly passed away towards the end of 2018. Andy thought it fitting to give his father a posthumous guest appearance courtesy of a repeated 'Dad's Discs' from April 2013 in which he introduces one of his favourite songs.

Leo Gilbert - April 2019
A trimmer show from me this month. After a couple of four-hour behemoths, I decided to live within my means and package up two hours of the best that 2019 (and maybe another couple of years) has put on its shelves so far.
I TOY with a bit of Energy and Pinhdar with a Toy; Surfbort (almost resident artists on my show) are back with a new single, and another show fave, Pye Corner Audio, lets me play a track from their (his) new album. Modeselektor features large with a couple of wonderful tracks, including the mesmerising Wake Me Up When It's Over, and his stable-mate, Apparat, pops up with his new single, Dawan. Thunderous tunes issue forth from Bliss Signal, Ex-Eye, TFS and Deena Abdelwahed, while Broken Social Scene continue to show us what great smiths of tunes they are.
Most intriguing of all, perhaps, are the two tracks from the enigmatic new collection by Efdemin. All this plus (a few) more.
Why not listen, listen and listen again?

The Beatbox Saboteurs Show - April 2019
Glad to say, we have a mighty fine 3 hour show for you for April, including a mesmerising end of show mix that's sure to relax you after the usual chaos of our main segment. What have we got lined up? Well, loads of new releases will be flying out of your speakers courtesy of Obscenity State, Newmeds, Ernest Moon, Rivers And Suns, Mammoth Penguins, SPQR and SPC ECO.
There's also a stack of new acts to share with you, including Secret Treehouse, The Shrubs, Alexandra Babiak, Pipaluk & Cecilie Supernova, New Me and Paris Love-Child. Winter Gardens and Swimming Pool provide two absolutely splendid new shoegaze moments, plus there's plenty of electro from the likes of Symbion Project, Dadanaut, Ed Wynne, Flency, Redshift and Blackhill Transmitter.
We have more tracks coming your way from show regulars Transmission 13, Whettman Chelmets, Evi Vine, Life As Surface Noise and Amyl & The Sniffers. Pushing the boundaries of time, the Dutch delight, Arjen Schat, entertains us with by far the longest track we have ever broadcast. Even our butler, Merriman, pops up with a tune of his choice.

Mark Whitby - April 2019
Our first session for a while is undoubtedly one of the highlights of this month's show, especially as it comes from the venerable Skullfuck Jackson. In a packed three hours, we also manage to pack in tracks from not one but two featured compilations: one is the first in a series of new EPs from Thomas Imposter, while the other is an album that promises psychedelia, country, garage and soul but, to these ears, offers up something else entirely.
As I write, my bit of the world is still part of Europe; in at least temporary celebration of that, we bring you something from a French split 12" featuring Bambounou, another wonderful offering from Lithuania's Cold Tear label, a further slice of Iberian reggae from Bojaman and something from another early contender for album of the year, from Stereotyp, based in Austria. Going further afield, Japanese fastcore veterans Ultimo Rausea serve up a typically raucous new offering, while there's also a tasty reissue of Nigerian trumpet maestro Zeal Onyia.
And we offer a glance at just a few of the delights awaiting us on Record Store Day, specifically ace vinyl reissues from Prolapse, Frances McKee and Lightnin' Hopkins, rubbing shoulders with a new albums from, among other things, The Wendy Darlings, The Pocket Gods and Andy Golding's new Dragon Welding project.

Pete Jackson - April 2019
A whole world of treats awaits this month, not least of which is an outstanding new session from Dandelion Radio favourites Orange Bomb, who over the space of four tremendous tunes reveal secrets and truths, not least about Kevin's dad.
There's some great cuts from a new collection of early 60s French twangy instrumentals subtitled Gallic Guitars a-Go-Go, great new tunes from as far afield as Malawi, Russia, Mexico, Morroco and Hebden Bridge, and amazing new releases from The Brian Jonestown Massacre and a huge new tune from Istanbul Hippodrome.
Soundtrack music from a modern British arthouse sci-fi classic, vintage Australian industrial noise and a trip back in time with the dear departed Dick Dale round out your April box of delights.

Rocker - April 2019
A three hour show this month packed with new music, including tracks from An Horse; Girl One & The Grease Guns; The Total Rejection; Mekons; Dragon Welding; Linda Guilala; Beau; Arrest! Charlie Tipper; Peter Perrett; The Jasmine Minks; Feels; Edwyn Collins; Fresh; Mammoth Penguins; Clinic; Los Bonsais; Witching Waves; JD Meatyard; The Wendy Darlings; Bad Sleep; and The Natvral.
The Spook School cover Trust Fund, while Blue Orchids cover Crystal Stilts. Future Pilot AKA feature a guest vocal from Robert Wyatt, while the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra feature a guest vocal from Beth Gibbons, recorded live and in Polish, despite her not speaking the language.
There's a wealth of new electronica this month, including Mathame remixed by Tale Of Us; A Sasha & Krister Linder classic remixed by Radio Slave; Overloque; Upercent; Max Cooper remixed by Indian Wells and Jiggler.
This month's Educating Elizabeth record is a brand new soul spin; while this month's Rocker's Shellac Attack features one of the great bluesmen, recorded in 1956.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: In 1976, while the Western world was revelling in the first releases from The Ramones, The Damned and The Sex Pistols, behind the iron curtain in Poland Henryck Górecki was composing his third symphony, the 'Symphony Of Sorrowful Songs'. The haunting second movement features lyrics from a prayer written on the wall of a gestapo cell by an 18 year old Pole separated from her parents.

Sean Hocking - April 2019
There are 2 shows from Sean this month.
Along with this regular show there is a 2-hour special of songs from Bob Last's "Fast Product" label featuring plenty of bands that you will have heard of, such asThe Human League, Gang Of Four and the Mekons, plus plenty that you might have only dim memories of, like Scars, Basczax and Restricted Code.
The other show has 4 hours of music and still does not have room for all of the new tracks that he wanted to fit in.
Listen out for 3 songs from the debut ep by Beauty Stab, 2 ex members of Vukavar who have struck out on a new path that takes in Rowland S Howard, torch songs and Italo. Wonderful stuff.
Sydney's Low Life are back with a new album and even Rough Trade have featured them in one of their latest updates.

Sean Hocking's Fast Product Story - April 2019
Fast Product was an Edinburgh-based independent label started in late 1977 by Bob Last. Whilst it was easy at the time to find second-division punk bands keen to make records, this wonderful label distinguished itself by discovering previously unknown acts who were making much more interesting music, usually with a left-field political slant.
Primary amongst these influential and diverse talents were The Human League, Gang Of 4 and the Mekons all of whom released their first records on the label.
Last also gave Californian scene-leaders the Dead Kennedys their first UK release, and included Joy Division on one of his compilations, Earcom 2.
In later years he established the "Pop Aural" label, which included the sharp as anything Fire Engines amongst others on its roster.
I am rather obsessed by the labels and Last's approach and believe his aesthetic has informed a lot more in independent music and design that people give him credit for.
Listen out for Sean's regular show as well.

Thomas Blatchford - April 2019
Thomas has a bumper three-hour edition of the rodent disco this April, with the final third dedicated to Hal Blaine, the unassuming session drummer who (amongst many other achievements) invented the iconic drumbeat on The Ronettes' 'Be My Baby'. For this reason the last hour of the show only features songs that use that drumbeat (covers, remixes, blatant plagiarism etc.) in his honour.
The playlist this month also gives the celestial nod to Dick Dale, Jackie Shane and Keith Flint, features live tracks from Lost Talk and Cystic Nightmare, plus piping hot new singles from Scratch Match, Racerage, Party Dozen, Birdz, Porpoise Spit and so on.
What more do you want? Continuing grime beef? A musical tour guide to Timperley? Hip hop about climate change? A recording of a nightingale from over a hundred years ago? Ok fine.

Trev - April 2019
Another month rolls around - has Brexit happened? Has there been a general election here in the UK? No matter what I've put together a bumper 3 hour show - with two cities (Glasgow and Melbourne - quite by accident, I must add) featuring heavily in the show.
Guitar pop from Fresh, Vital Idles, The Wendy Darlings, Bananagun and many more. Away from the guitars we have a new songs from Beckton Alps2, Sikka Rymes, Gallo, Stereotyp and Brain Dancing.
There are a brace of tunes from the increasingly impressive Fika Recordings stable (The Ballet & Mammoth Penguins) and we welcome the return of Terminal Cheesecake with a play of the lead song from their forthcoming LP 'Le Sacre Du Liévre' and also a noise drenched acid rock tip we have a 17+ minute monster from USA / Mexico.
