Andrew Morrison - February 2022
Andy's February show comprises an hour of recently released tunes from acts including Boy Omega, Wet Leg, Lo Moon, Ulrich Schnauss & Mark Peters, Sjöblom, French For Rabbits and Ben Holton (Birds In The Brickwork) - the new photography inspired project side project of Epic45 member Ben. There's another track from the brilliant debut LP of recent session guest Tired Cossack, and you'll also hear the brand new Arab Strap single - which, although not featured on 'As Days Get Dark', has been released to mark the album's first anniversary.

Gareth Jones - February 2022
Gareth's February show pays tribute to three vocalists who passed away in January 2022, with songs from The Detroit Cobras, Ronnie Spector and Meat Loaf, plus a surprising synth-pop cover version of a Meat Loaf classic.
Gareth replaces the Sixties this month, instead bringing you 'Secret Songs from the Seventies', with three cuts by Alvin Stardust taken from a new CD box set of his three albums from '73 - '75.
Then in the 2nd hour we see the return of the feature 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue', with song choices introduced by Paige, singer of the Glam Power Pop duo Voodoo Radio, who have just released their debut mini album 'Pop Pills'.
Plus brand new songs by The Luxembourg Signal and The Orchids taken from a forthcoming new compilation album released in March by Skep Wax Records called 'Under The Bridge', which brings together new tracks by artists who were associated with the Indie label Sarah Records.

Jeff and Alfie - February 2022
The Grainger boys pop in for an hour with their 1st show of 2022.
Some fine Dandelion Radio debuts in the shape of Honeybadgers and Rosy MacKinnon.
There is a whole bunch of lovely current and new releases; English Teacher, Papé Nziengui, Opus Kink, Caroline, M(h)oal and Black Country, New Road.
There have, alas, been a few notable passings recently. So, we take time out to remember the great Ronnie Spector and Rachel Nagy of the Detroit Cobras.

Leo Gilbert - February 2022
Leo's four February hours are filled with fabulous refrains from forty-plus forgers of the finest fare.
On top of the usual up-to-the-minute releases (this month from people such as Shamir, Gabriels, EERA, Jeffrey Lewis, Low Altitude, Mario Batcovic, Kim Gordon & J Mascis, Let's Eat Grandma, Claire Rousay & More Eaze and The Smile), he has the pick of the toppest of top tunes from 2021, from the likes of Lucy Dacus, Brogan Bentley, Bullant, Famous, The Armed, Ed Dowie, The Catenary Wires, Bendik Giske and Allesandro Baris.
Special mention must also go to Burial, whose new album Leo would have happily played in its entirety (but has rationed himself to a mere single track). He also, somehow, has eleven songs in fifteen seconds.
This is a show that is essential listening from very beginning to the absolute end.

Pete Jackson - February 2022
Two hours of top fun from Pete this month, with an awesome new session from Warped Freqs at the heart of activities - and a fearsome, noisy affair it is too.
There's also big new releases from Yard Act, The Wedding Present, Black Country, New Road and Blinker and Moses, a slightly late-in-the-day yuletide-themed attack on a Fall classic, some Indian afro-tech, 60s French psych-pop and Brazillian punk, plus a tip of the titfer to the recently-passed Ronnie Spector.

Rocker - February 2022
Two hours from Rocker this month, featuring new tracks from Benefits; Good Grief; Arrest! Charlie Tipper; Secret Shine; Studio Electrophonique; Bruno And The Outrageous Methods Of Presentation; Postage; Bush & Fey; Neil Young & Crazy Horse; Papercuts; Iceman Furniss Quartet; The Jesus Bolt; and Kids On A Crime Spree.
There's electronica from Fort Romeau; Burial and Microtrauma. Marc Romboy & Stephan Bodzin are remixed by Joris Voorn, there's a Sugiurumn remix of The Monorals, and Steel Pulse get the Gaudi treatment.
This month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is a 10" 78 from 1958, while this month's Educating Elizabeth record is a Tamla Motown release from 1968.
As well as little known acts, here's a little known fact: Callisto is the second-largest moon of Jupiter.

Sean Hocking - February 2022
February has arrived and already there's a slew of new tunes appearing not just on the horizon but right here right now. It's already beginning to look as though 2021 was a very productive year for writers and I think all us music lovers out here are going to benefit if not drown in fantastic new music.
Yard Act from Leeds who were a favourite with most of us at Dandelion last year have released their debut album and the mainstream media and music media seem to love their sharp spiky debut (we do too) so we've included a track off the album.
We've got new ones from the Metal Postcard stable, The Tyrds (Portland) project of former White Fang guitarist Kyle Handley. As always I'm biased but it is some of the best bedroom punk I've heard in a long long time, drawing on the Ramones, Richman and others of that ilk. Even better I suspect most of the songs are written about a former band member, always something that adds a bit of frisson.
We've also got advance airings from new albums from MP artists, The Legless Trials, The Conspiracy & Brian Bordello.
Discoveries this month of acts from the fairly recent past include US Country singer Paul Cauthen who pens ditties such as "Country Cocaine Dancing" & "Country As Fuck". From the UK in 2014, somebody we missed out on at the time, Woodpecker Wooliams, amazing, actually double amazing.
Regular listeners know I'm a bit fond of the Pachanga Boys and I dug around their albums and solo outings and found out that they are a bit more than Burning Man fodder, actually they've invented quite a bizarre little world and I've enjoyed visiting it.
Also a song about getting Rabies, Link Wray, Leadbelly and new UK duo Cassells.
