Daniel Päßler and Ricardo Linke have been making music since 1995 but it was not until 2005 that their founded their project Microtrauma.
In 2007 they had their break through and real success with two EPs.
Their biggest hit emerged with the release of “Aktin” which was played by djs like John Digweed, DJ Sasha, James Zabiela and eventually ended up in a BBC Essential mix by James Zabiela.
Microtrauma have played live together with Bodzin and Huntemann in their hometown and had great feedbacks coming from them and other associated classy DJs.
They started their productions from Traum with a remix for Max Cooper's “Stochastisch Serie” and have carried on to work closer with the label releasing their first solo EP on the label with "Colourblind" EP (Traum 135/March 2011)
including remixes by Max Cooper, Ryan Davis and Richie G from Bedrock.
The release was received very well and was their first big step into the "Traum world".
Their "Emilia" Ep(Traum 140/August 2011) followed half a year later and came with remixes by Max Cooper, Mononoid and Morris Cowan. The Track "Circulate " made it hight into the Beatport charts and stayed there for months and meant the breakthrough for them internationally.
Their remix for Ümit Han on Traum also went into the Beatport charts. IN December 2012 a remix for Rob Clouth was released on Traum.
Since then Microtrauma have been playing internationally with many gigs in Germany and France.
Their sophisticated sound sequentials rage from constructing sonic melodic techno, to electronic soundscapes, breaks and ambient music. Their music allways carries an organic band like feel and a kind of adventurous perspective.
