| Sean Hocking - July 2023 This month it's just a couple of hours from Bottom of The Pops, but that doesn't stop us from being crammed with new releases from the likes of Kaukolampi (Finland), The Chives (Boston), Oopsie Daisies (Portland), Cat Box Bois (Dallas), The Toads (Melbourne) to name a few. If you like late 80s and 90s alt UK pop a la Cure when they were fun, Babybird, Petshop Boys St Etienne, Popguns make sure to find that Oopsie Dasies ep on Spotify and put it on repeat. I've been playing it for the last month and each time it gets better and better and better. The world is cruel and only a few will ever hear it ... just remember you are one of those lucky few. The new Hak Baker album (self described as folk grime) I believe to be a future UK classic, I sense Soul to Soul in there amongst many others, buy, beg, borrow or steal. | X-Ray Moon - July 2023 This month X-Ray Moon has many new releases, and recently released tracks, that he's excited to share with the listeners. From the sweet sounds of Damien Hoskins to Sparks' recent release, and the groovy new track by Gflex called Tenderlonious. There are some recently released tracks, such as the phenomenally spellbinding track by Fadoul from a couple of years ago, as well as the must hear track from the French group Meule also from 2021. And as seems to be Moon's pattern by now, he begins his show with two splendid rarities from back in the days when a mixed tape given to a friend or lover was quite a significant thing ...
