Powered by Audioscrobbler™Worriers are an American melodic punk collective from Brooklyn, New York. The band's music is centred around the songwriting of the former vocalist/guitarist of The Measure [sa], Lauren Denitzio (aka Lauren Measure), who formed the band in 2011 following the demise of their former band. The band has no concrete line-up, with a rotating cast of guitarists, bassists and drummers working under the Worriers moniker both live and in the studio. Frequent collaborators include Mikey Erg (The Ergs!), Lou Hanman (Caves) and Audrey Zee Whitesides (Little Waist).

The band's debut release was a seven-inch, entitled Past Lives, distributed through No Idea Records in 2011. In May 2013, the band announced their debut album, entitled Cruel Optimist, which was released in October 2013 through Don Giovanni Records. The following month, a three-track seven-inch entitled Sinead O'Rebellion featuring three songs not on Cruel Optimist was released.

In 2014, the band announced they would be heading into the studio with Against Me!'s Laura Jane Grace as their producer. The project's second album was completed in early 2015. The album, Imaginary Life, was released in August 2015; once again via Don Giovanni Records.
