Erin K

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Erin K is Erin Kleh and just a few years ago she picked up a guitar and began writing autobiographical songs that earned her a reputation in the London anti-folk scene. One of the hottest bands on London's anti-folk scene, Erin K performs a range of quirky, honest and heartfelt songs. She has developed her own style of folk, with songs touching upon subjects like sex dolls, hybrid animals, relationships and food.

She recently performed at both the Olympics and Paralympics, and also played a solo show at the Edinburgh Festival. She has headlined many of London's must-do venues, including Union Chapel and Bush Hall. Her song "coins" was hand picked as Huw Stephens' BBC Introducing Tip of The Week. She was the first unsigned act to be played on Nihal's Review Show on BBC1, and has had airplay on 6Music with Tom Robinson, BBC London, Absolute Radio and Kerrang and was The Guardians' Band of the Day #1,111. She has just self-released her first single "Coins" and is currently recording her first EP.

Sometimes funny, but never a comedy band, sometimes sad, but never melancholic. With harmonies that will send a shiver down your spine, lyrics that always hit a spot, tunes you'll be singing for weeks after and an incredible stage performance, this is a band that has to be experienced live at least once.
