There's electronica from mysterious German duo Die Neue Zeit, as well as a new track from Petar Dundov, and a reworking of a Dukwa track by Deetron. There's also a wonderful new track by Paul Rooney, from his forthcoming new concept album about working in a call centre. There's a whole slew of new reggae / ska releases on Happy People Records. Meanwhile Courtney Barnett takes on The Velvet Underground, Laura Cantrell covers Freedy Johnson, and David Christian of Comet Gain reinterprets a classic track by Felt. This month's Rocker's Shellac Attack is from 1955. There's no Educating Elizabeth record, instead this month sees a one-off return of the Peel's Big 45 feature, to mark the passing of one of the all time great record producers.
