Powered by Audioscrobbler™Tropical Fuck Storm or TFS for short is the new noise side project from The Drones core members, singer-songwriter Gareth Liddiard and bass player Fiona Kitschin. The band also consists of the additional members of Erica Dunn of MOD CON, Palm Springs, Harmony, who provided backing vocals on The Drones' last album and of who now plays guitar and keyboard along with Lauren Hammel from High Tension on drums. Additionally, Liddiard has given credit to Dan Kelly for coming up with the band name of Tropical Fuck Storm.

Following four 7" singles in late 2017 and early 2018, the group had released their debut album "A Laughing Death In Meatspace" on 4th May 2018. TFS released their sophomore album "Braindrops" on 23 August, 2019.
