NEWS: We are coming to the end of the May shows so tune in quick if you missed some - otherwise go to MixCloud to catch-up but without detailed artist info
Keep up the good work. Can't fault the listeners choice of the festive 50 No.1.

Congratulations and thank you for the 100 months of brilliant radio. It's really an amazing feat, the time and effort that you all put in to keep this broadcast running. Dandelion, my favorite soundtrack. Please keep it going...

Just Listening to the first track on Rockers show..... Please could someone give Robb Johnson a knighthood!
Really enjoying Kevin Robinson's August show - a nice mix of genres in the true eclectic style of Peel himself - not something that all the Dandelion Radio DJs manage so well.

Fantastic to find this after all these years. Will have to pour myself a bath at 10pm and listen to you while soaking before bed - like I used to do to Peel. Love the mix - some electronica, followed by some Dub, followed by African, followed by a old Peel rock track - love the mix of genres
Thanks so much for Dandelion Radio. I used to listen to John Peel's BBC World Service show on my Shortwave Radio every week and can even remember his championing of Tubular Bells way back when. He was a great man and you are a great and very worthy radio station in faithfully honouring his legacy. I appreciate the loads of excellent music you always introduce me to and hope this continues for many years to come.
After all the festive festivities I have been enjoying the January and February shows so far. But I must admit I was missing a little something, as a great meal that was in need of a little bit of salt.
And then I noticed Marcelle and Paul have left. This still leave Dandelion the best radio station I know but it is a big shame as they definitely added their own dimensions (apperently current thinking has it there might be up to 14 dimensions to form our universe and very existence).
But I do not want to take a away from the great work all the DJs past and present put into Dandelion every month. It is really appreciated and enjoyed time and time again.
Thank you all!
PS: is there a way to make a small donation to Dandelion?
Admin reply: Thanks for your message Joost.
Paul and Marcelle can still be heard via their other outlets (e.g. Paul is currently running a Winter Olympics themed set of shows on his Mixcloud account) - and you can relive their old shows (along with the rest our the 2 Dandelion Radio Mixcloud accounts) - but times change.
Our newest DJ - Kevin - has added some more variety and there might be a new voice coming over the next month or so.
Hi all, Good idea to pop over here Andrew Morrison, to say hello, and after a bit of His Electro Blue Voice - how bloody marvellous Hi to JD Meatyard too, another favourite! Paul
Regarding Dandelion listener's decision to vote Arcade Fire in at number 21 in the Festive 50 (with my personal favourite record of the year), it's worth noting that they have featured previously in the chart, netting 2 entries in 2007 and one in 2005). Although, much like Andrew Morrison, I must also confess I didn't particularly care for them until this record was released, either, it's clear that despite their globe-straddling status they ARE an act suited to Dandelion.

re: "angry young man" what version was that you played in the FF50?
The played FF50 version goes "i used to think that tomorrow would last now my future is all in my past"
whilst
rocker session version goes "she was the most quiet girl you could meet now she plays to a rock n roll beat"
album version goes "i used to sit in confusion and cry now i laugh but i still don't know why".
Admin reply: The 2013 Short Stories album 'Send My Love To Everyone' contains two versions of 'Angry Young Man' - A full version and a shortened version. It was the full version that Pete played in the F50 show.
