The Yank Sizzler Radio Program is two hours of the best music I can get my hands on, from studio tracks, private live recordings, online only exclusives, demos, to forgotten vinyl gems. We’ll seek to be introduced to everything wonderful old or new because a Mississippi John Hurt 78 rpm from the 1940’s is as grand as the most destructive breakcore epic being created right now.

The point is to allow people to listen to great music regardless of commercial intent. Expect to snuggle up between the coolest indie sounds that some Brooklyn kid is creating right along with the warmest dub all after you just heard the depths of soul. Hell, if it’s genuine and brilliant, I’m going to play it.

I do this show from the plains of Lawrence, Kansas in the USA. So from Lawrence, KS to London, England and everywhere we can possibly reach, let us remember what it's like to play music without boundaries and restrictions.

I grew up on a farm in south western Kansas in the US. I live in lovely liberal Lawrence, KS where I found that I loved to spin records after doing four years at KJHK FM Radio. For years my mentor was John Peel. I ravenously consumed as many bootleg recordings as I could get of his shows. Peelie introduced me to what it meant to truly lavish oneself in the joy of music.
