Been listening since the last guestbook went down! Great work everyone - Finally something I can listen to for more than five minutes and discover something new JP would be more than happy to have his name associated with this!
Admin reply: Hope it is much more than 5 minutes. Otherwise our efforts will all be in vain and we will have to force feed you on Chris Moyles. Phil Edwards (webmaster and backroom boy)

Hi there. I've only just come across you after hearing Huw Stephens mentioning you on Wednesday night. The best thing that's happened to me so far in 2007. I'm a life-long fan of Peel and I have tape recordings of the Festive 50 going right back to 1978. In fact I think it's safe to say that the Festive 50, presented by Peel in his own inimitable way was the highlight of every Christmas for me, and that's no exaggeration. I was really down when I realised that Radio 1 wasn't giving us a Festive 50 for 2006 but now I find that there was a Festive 50 and it's, to some extent anyway, downloadable too! Wow! I'm going to have a few days heavy downloading ahead of me, I guess but it'll be worth it. Many thanks. You've made me a happier man. Thanks again.
Admin reply: Hi James Thanks for your kind and most welcome post. Like you James, I was a keen fan of the Festive 50 (and of course the great man himself). In fact my own personal e-mail address for over 10 years has been festive50@ various IPs over the years. Up until John's sad demise, my wife and kids had got used to the turmoil caused by my tapings of the FF and the frantic dashing into my study to change the tapes and DEFINITELY not going out during the broadcast (or if it was a family gathering, I took along my portable recorder) until I finally got myself a double cassette recorder and better yet when they were put on line and down-loadable. My FFs only go back to 1981 though.
Back to Dandelion Radio's Festive 50. When we were approached by John's old production team to see if we were interested in taking on this task, there was a flurry of activity amongst us at Dandelion Radio Towers (only kidding, we are widely spread across the UK in our cosy little semis etc. - apart from one of us in his French chateaux). Anyway we set up a conference call and decided that we could and indeed should do it. The rest of course is history. Personally, I think our festive 50 was pretty damn good.
Thanks again for your kind comments and keep listening, 'cos I think we're going from strength to strength. Regards Phil Edwards (webmaster and backroom boy)
enjoying the laid back nature of the station, I will be putting something together for you this month for you approval, let me know if you are interested, Sean :O)
Actually, _llll_, it looks like you're the SIXTH posting, thus making me the SEVENTH. Thank you for accessing this latest programme in the Dandelion Radio University course on Simple Counting!
