"I started making songs on my laptop in 2003.

I was sampling snippets of violin sampled from classical records and playing new riffs with them, and also using a lot of 808 drum sounds, the kind that were being used in Lil Jon records.

I've played guitar since i was a kid, so i started experimenting with recording guitar riffs but trying to twist and distort them so that they sounded like a different instrument. Tracks like "Hands Get Dealt" and "Pick Up The Phone" have a lot of guitar in them. I got into combining the guitar noises with the samples and with noise. With "Hands Get Dealt" I bounced the track onto an ipod then recorded it back through ipod speakers into my laptop, so it was really noisy and filtered. A lot of the percussion is me doing things like banging a plastic bracelet on a wooden desk, and recording it straight into the laptop using the built-in microphone.

Its turned into an album which is called "Middx", I'm also called Middx."
