Powered by Audioscrobbler™Synthpop, post-punk duo from Minsk, Belarus based in Augsburg, Germany created by belarusian musician Arthur Tsymbal with partial support by keyboarder Egor Ivakhnenko (Moscow, Russia).
They construct melancholic 1980s-inspired synth-pop music.
2014 released their first Album Loud (2014) and played their first live shows in Belarus and Russia.
With their second Album - Discotheque (2016), TVY changed their sound. The sound got darker, the lyrics deeper. After “Discotheque” was released, TVY played at the one of the biggest Belarusian music festivals “FSP” und the first European live shows in Germany and Belgium.
With their album Distant (2019) The Violent Youth showed a brand new analogue sound in their music together with the lyric themes from love to politics.
In August 2020 the duo released its fourth album “Tam, Gde Nas Net” - synth pop, new wave and post-punk with lyrics in completely duo members mother language - russian. The album was presented on the 8th of August 2020 in Minsk.
