The Shakes

Powered by Audioscrobbler™The Shakes may refer to one of FOUR bands

1.) The Shakes, a rock n roll group from Philadelphia, PA.
"You know THE SHAKES but I'll tell you anyway...basically it's like if you got really drunk with Little Richard and went over to Joey Ramones house where the drinking continued and you guys sang Sam Cooke songs all night and every body loved it!!!!"

2) a jangly garage pop band from Adelaide, Australia who play lo-fi songs of social anxiety and love sickness in the vein of The Dismemberment Plan, Interpol and Pavement.

5) The Shakes, formed back in early 2005, consisted of Clint Woolsey, Marcus Brown, and Phill Mann. After several line up changes, the band now has added Mike Thompson and Paul Zettler, and is a strong, original, three guitar, five piece rock outfit.
