Jon and Mark have been working on music together since meeting at university in England in the late 90s. Since then they have lived in different cities/countries but have still managed to collaborate thru the magic that is the uberweb. Other musicians are brought in to work on various tracks, and in recent years new collaborators have been collected online. The long-term aim of theMEband is to become more of an online virtual band with many, many members who will probably never meet. For now though most of the work is done between Jon (sweden) and Mark (england), with the use of Thomas Henry Deans bass skills and occasional guitar from Mattias Helgesson. At one point theMEband had a close call with one of the big 3, but are at present without any representing label...
