The Electric Sugar Children

The Electric Sugar Children
Image from Discogs
Powered by Audioscrobbler™In 1989/1990 Electric Sugar Children were four part born and bred Scottish indiepopsters.

These tracks are older tracks from that time.

Everyone went their own way and did their own thang.....but now in 2010, Electric Sugar Children are three quarters based in London and one quarter based in Scotland.

The band's sound has evolved and oblique lyrical imagery replaced by stark realism.

The band have several upcoming releases, tracks on a couple of different compilations, and an EP release. The new songs sparkle and shine like the most beautiful girls eyes on the most romantic night of the year after she has had three and a half glasses of champagne.

They are no longer twee indiepop, now more like The House of Love meeting The Perfect Disaster at a Weather Prophets party while The National rhythm section cause havoc with vodka jellies in the kitchen.

The band comprise of -

jaf - vocals
Edd - guitars
Kenny - drums
Gogs - bass

The Electric Sugar Children play rock n roll with a snarl and a wink, sounding like 80s Creation acts with some added honey and a nip of mescal. The music is diverse guitar driven indie rock n roll with a Reedesque vocal delivery, played with swagger; fashionistas of no scene, living out their dream.
