Artist Info

Street Violence

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Street Violence was a surf punk band from Atlanta, Ga, active from 2009 to 2012. The members included Trevor Vick (guitar), Shawn Dillard (drums), Cole Grant (bass), Will Raines (keys), and Suzanne Baker (vocals). They became infamous for their rowdy house shows and distinctive style. They quickly built a cult following in the Atlanta underground stemming from their epic first show on Halloween 2009, where violence literally spilt into the street and pumpkins were thrown through windows. The legend built from there as they packed the house regularly and toured around the southeast, building ties with the underground scenes of Orlando and Birmingham, among others. Constant shows and drawn out tours took their toll on the members, though, which led to a decision to break up in 2012. They played their last show on May 3, 2012 at 529 in Atlanta to a jovial gathering of dear friends, who danced their hearts out, trashed the bar, and set records for most crowd surfs in a hot dog costume.
