Powered by Audioscrobbler™Spear Of Destiny (S.O.D.) is a British post-punk rock band formed in London in 1982 lead by singer songwriter Kirk Brandon, former Theatre of Hate frontman and bassist Stan Stammers. They are best known for their single, Never Take Me Alive, which was a top 20 hit in 1987.

As of 2025 SOD have produced 15 studio albums and are currently touring for their 45th year anniversary.
