Nathan, Dylan, Paul and Mike bonded over a love of music and the mystical landscape of their homeland, Wales, setting sail for a land of musical delight.
Every kind of instrument under the sun is fair game and often gets warped into something new using filters, tremelo and rotary pedals and echo chambers.
Lyrics take in everything from Alexander the Great, drowned villages, Made in Chelsea (bad), and the great outdoors (good). Protest creeps into some songs but with tongue in cheek rather than brow beating, although the humour can be rather dark. For example the band would not literally advocate tying the mastermind behind X Factor to 4 shire horses and setting them galloping, but its a nice daydream.
