Simeon Coxe Born Simeon Oliver Coxe III on June 4, 1938 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Passed away on September 8, 2020 in Fairhope, Alabama. Raised in New Orleans from the age of seven, he was employed as a news reporter/producer for WKRG TV and other stations throughout the 70's and 80's. As an artist, he is famously known worldwide for his seminal work in electronic music with his band Silver Apples. Simeon Coxe died on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. He was 82.
