Powered by Audioscrobbler™Rabbit Island is the title given to Amber Fresh and a range of Perth musicians who occasionally join her to make dreamy lo-fi bedroom music.
Amber's first official release, 'O God, Come Quick' released by Badminton Bandit is packed tightly with the echoey gems of delicate mastery that people have come to love and expect from our little friend. In O God, Come Quick the listener is gently hypnotized with stories from a romantic, melancholy, spiritual, watery place, via reverb-drenched vocal loops or fragile acoustic guitar and cello. As usual, this place, being Amber's heart and mind, is opened to an array of complementary musicians, in Matt Maguire, Tristen Parr, David Egan, Matt Aitken, Greg Taw, Leonie Lionheart and Brad Prestipino.
'O God, Come Quick' was celebrated with a simultaneous release of ten video clips for songs on the album by friends and filmmakers during 2011.
