Powered by Audioscrobbler™Ormatie's real name is Aleksandr Sergeevich Brovkin, hailing from S.-Petersburg, Russia. Being in the music since he was born, he started to make his own only in the end of 2004, influenced by some big names of progressive and trance scene out there. It was may 2006, when he made the first good track,in his opinion, - Glossow. The track was picked up by new Iceland based label Arctic Wave Records in june and, some later, by Markus Schulz for his Ibiza 06 compilation after getting regular playtime support from Markus himself. Already caught by some of the most popular djs, Glossow is said to be very promising release going with two mood remixes from Terje Bakke and Funk Harmony Park.

2008 was a banner year for Russia´s Aleksandr Sergeevich Brovkin. With a string of work under his alias Ormatie he has crossed paths with the likes of Audionova and Jay Lumen, offering up gentle, spacious remixes in stark contrast to their respective original mixes. Quickly finding his way to Nick Warren´s ears, it was then onto Global Underground 035: Lima, where Nick once again took the opportunity to get out the names of some up-and-comers and included Ormatie´s ´Twisted Turns´.

Later, Ormatie got two releases on Hope Recordings (2008 - Emoke, 2009 - Thus & So) alongside with publishing his tracks on popular Proton Music (2009 - Birthdays).
