Powered by Audioscrobbler™No Lay aka Isabella Gotti is a female lyricist, singer and song writer who originates from South London.

She first made her debut appearance into the UK urban scene as a member of ‘Unorthodox’ in which they released their first underground track and video ‘No Help No Hand Outs’. No Lay went on to embark on solo projects and released her first grime track ‘Unorthodox Daughter’ released Warner Bros in print label (679).The track was broadcasted on TV and made it into the MTV Hip Hop Chart and since then No Lay has gone from strength to strength gaining interviews and support from the likes of Mtv . Her tracks have been played on BBC Radio 1, BBC 1 Xtra and BBC Radio 1 (Scotland).

With an impressive portfolio of press to date, No Lay has featured in a range of publications such as New York Times, I.D Mag and Trace as one of fifty of the most influential black women worldwide, alongside greats such as Eryka Badu and Thandie Newton. Her press coverage does not fall short and is currently expanding daily.

She has opened for the likes of Mobb Deep and the Infamous Mobb, Toured Europe with Australian Electro Rock Group ‘The Bubble Bees’ (Currently signed to Universal) in which she performed tracks that she featured on (Prince Umberto & The Princess of III). This was made possible by the writing sessions that were organised through EMI.

In 2008 No Lay released the compilation ‘No Comparisons’ but took a break from music to support her father through his illness until he passed away she has now come back in 2011 stronger than ever.

Frequently dubbed as ‘The Truth’ female and male listeners alike have expressed that No Lays ability as a musician is great; she has an interactive hold over her listeners in which she conveys her message on the beat in a way that all in tuned, feel empowered and connected.

21st November 2011 marked the date of the launch of the ‘Drop me out’ EP in which No Lay gave her listeners a free download compilations with a variety of production laced with strong vocals.

The EP features just one feature from UK Rap artist Joe Black, they got together for the track they call ‘It’s So Hard’ the duet is a must have track for your collection, Joes Blacks realism, wit and honesty on the track mixed with No Lay’s precise flow and heartfelt content definitely makes you want to re load the track, did I mention that the hook was written and sung by Miss Isabella Gotti herself.

No Lays single entitled ‘Clock face’ is out on the 23rd January 2012 from her released EP ‘He said She said I am bad’ compilation out December 19th. She’s a multifaceted artist with charisma, strength and charm this is seen through her drive and her musical ability she’s one to watch for 2012.
