Leather Nun (without article) is a doom metal band from San Diego, California formed in 2003. Also known as Leather Nun America, the band consists of John Sarnie on vocals & guitar, John Pasquale on drums and Noel Holloway on bass.

They've released their first self-titled EP in 2005 and the 2nd My Congregation in 2006, which also saw their first full-length album All Your Kin coming to life.
In 2007 the 2 EPs were re-released as Tools of the New Church. Second full length album Absence of Light was released in 2008.
Latest release is from 2011 and titled Kult Occult.
