Inkke is an artist and producer from Glasgow, Scotland. After building up with a number of devastating dub plates which saw him brought into the fold at influential Instrumental Grime night Boxed, his debut full length arrived on Astral Black in 2014. A dense and deep fog of Memphis Rap, Trap and Grime sounds, ‘Faded With Da Kittens’ served as a warning that Inkke wasn’t about to fit easily into any pigeonhole. His subsequent work has seen him explore a range of styles, with highlights including an EP for Local Action and an appearance on Mumdance and Logos curated ‘Weightless Volume One’ compilation. In 2015 he’s joined forces with Novelist for ‘Mmm Yeah’, and collaborated with S-Type on ‘Ice’ for fellow Glaswegians LuckyMe.
