By the time Hopper Propelled Electric first started the car, the members had already been road tested in various other bands with equally challenging monikers (Butterglory, Chorizo and the Frantic Driver). This trans-Atlantic 3 piece spew a guttural rock n roll attack with drunken musings of love and hate.

The delta blues punk garage trio draws on various influences (Howlin’ Wolf, The Stooges, Bukka White, The Fall, The Monks, Captain Beefheart) to create a roots heavy racket.

HPE have so far chalked up a few excited live reviews from raucous nights in and around Manchester, a couple of radio sessions and a 7” set for release in 2013. Then it’s time to get to work finishing the album.
