Powered by Audioscrobbler™There are at least 5 bands named Es.

1. Es (Sami Sänpäkkilä) is the founder of the Finnish underground record label, Fonal Records. His music explains pretty much what most of Fonal Records' music is about: experimenting with sounds, bound together by free-folk ambient and occasional huge drones. Sami is a musician, film-maker and the head of Fonal Records. Sami's fourth musical solo release is the “Sateenkaarisuudelma” double LP released by the Belgian (K-raa-k)3 records on 1st November 2005. It was finally released as a 2CD edition due to popular demand. Sami has created 15 short films and music videos which have been screened in various museums, art galleries and film festivals around the world. The films and the music are experimental moodscapes that explore the themes of melancholy, pathos and hope. Es has performed across North America and Europe at various festivals including Sonár, Subcurrent and Itsenäisyysyö at the famous B2 club in Moscow.

2. ES (Esther Weemaes) is a Belgian singer-songwriter who makes jazzy and acoustic songs. Also in this band are Kasper Cobbaert behind the drums and Ann-Sophie Claeys who plays the cello and takes care of the backing vocals. http://www.myspace.com/estherweemaes

3. es is an Italian band, one of the founder groups of the independent label Fosbury Records. Their music could be described as a playful pop-rock, with witty lyrics that could be both ironic and evocative, often hiding some dark feelings. Their aptitude is quite experimental, trying to add to their sound some synth melodies and noises. So far they published two albums, "MUSICA TEDesCA Tric e Troc" and "The Mistercervello LP", as long as many new tracks appeared on different compilations.

4. ES is a drum and bass artist.

5. Es is a post-punk/synth punk feminist band from London, UK. https://esband.bandcamp.com

6. Es is a Japanese female vocalist. https://music.amazon.co.jp/artists/B0C1WPSXTP/es
