deux furieuses is a female post punk/alternative rock guitar and drums duo from Glasgow and London formed in 2013 and John Kennedy Radio X "Ones to Watch for 2016".

Their first single "Can We Talk About This? " was released in October 2014, followed by "The Party Of Shaitaan" in February 2015 and "Are We Sexy Enough?" in May 2015.

Their debut London performance was at The Water Rats with The Fauns and Blindness. Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey) came to see the band play and produced the band's debut album at Bryn Derwen Studios, Wales in August 2013.

Towards the end of 2013, deux furieuses supported John Parish at The Borderline, London and Husker Du legend Grant Hart at The Miller, London. The duo were invited to play Wowzers Festival at London School of Economics on International Women's Day 2014 by The Girls Are magazine. deux furieuses went to Russia in September 2014 and played gigs in Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Music critic Everett True featured the band on Collapse Board In February 2015 and wrote "deux furieuses have surpassed Savages already in just under four minutes of tightly wound, compressed menace".

deux furieuses have been featured in Q Magazine, Punktastic, The Girls Are, Louder Than War and Artrocker. On radio they have been featured as John Kennedy's Xposure Big One twice and invited to do an Xposure One Night Stand session, picked by Tom Robinson for his BBC Introducing mixtape and supported on BBC Radio 6 Music by Gideon Coe.

In May 2016, Louder Than War awarded debut album Tracks of Wire a 10 / 10 review saying "It is, in modern terms, a classic album, a soundtrack to life in 2016".

TRACKS OF WIRE, produced by Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey), was released on 20th May 2016.
