Crescendo are Jonson Walker and Dan Akerman to their families. They started out as a kind of Trip Hop band with a human rhythm section but got bored so they now work with robots, or samplers and drum machines as they're known in other households.
They make dusty lo-fi electro pop and also write a comic that details their adventures through the space-time continuum. They are based in Liverpool and find it quite a laugh playing slacker electronica to students fixated by hair gel, Arctic monkeys and fluoroescent socks. They are influenced by a wide range of people like MBV, Beta Band, Chemical Brothers, Flaming Lips, Happy Mondays, The Postal Service and Pavement to name but a few and would like to think that they sound like nothing you've heard, for better or for worse.
