NEWS:
We have 28 hours across 12 shows for October including, possibly, the last from Mark Cunliffe for a long time. Plus - it is already 20 years since John Peel died and we have some reminders.

Artist Info

Cold Comfort

Powered by Audioscrobbler™There are multiple artists named Cold Comfort:

1) Cold Comfort was a post-punk band from Ukraine.
Drawing inspiration from the aesthetics and sound of 80s without losing the sight of actual music, guys from Cold Comfort found their point of contact in late 2012 - under the piercing background humming of analog synthesizers, under the howling of vocalist and guitar player Alex, doomed by social themes and self-exclamations, they began to play rather ominous melodies to the strict yet rhythmic sound of a drum-machine. This is how was born their first EP "Modern Crypts". Shortly after that WornPop label signed the band and released their second EP "Issue De Secours" in 2015. Few years later, they decided to shift the general mood to a warmer side, and also began to flirt more with the electronic music. Cold Comfort are cautious about the experiments, and they are tend to play their music with familiar methods while remaining sufficiently original.

2) Cold Comfort is a rock band from Illinois.
Cold Comfort is a four-piece band who has combined dark tones with infectious dance beats. Hailing from Libertyville, Illinois, the band is comprised of Brent (vocals, synth), Drea (guitar, synth), Tyler (bass) and Mark (drums). By drawing influences from a broad spectrum (everything from The Faint to Tool), they've created a sound all their own. Live shows resemble dance parties more than your average rock concert.

3) Cold Comfort are a folk rock band from Ireland.
With Rob Walsh on vocal, guitar and harmonica, Colm Hassett on drums and percussion, Joey Mcgowan on bass guitar and Eoin 'Mossy' Morrissey on lead guitar, Cold Comfort are a band set to take you on a journey. Their catchy songs tell tales of misspent adventure, lost friends & honest poetic observations on the way we live. They have been together for just over a year and have gathered a dedicated cult following in that time. Their music has been described as “a cocktail of blues, rock & roll and country" but they go beyond these genres to create a funky, foot-stomping, eclectic sound.
Last year, they gigged regularly with support slots for Whipping Boy on their Periscopes up tour and Alabama 3 on their recent UK tour (with Rob Co-writing songs for their recent Shoplifting for jesus Album).

4) Cold Comfort is a one-man punk rock band from Northwich, UK
