Former member Shane Cough as well as Lance-Flamme, Clytem Scanning is Marianne Lois-Iron's solo experimental act from Paris.

Her first album, Armada, was released on her own Clytem Records in April 2011, and later by Le Son du Maquis/Harmonia Mundi in October of the same year. Her second album, Mirada Fuerte, was released in November 2012.

Her music is (self-)described as a mix of "blood, violence, eroticism and blackness" and she has toured and performed with the likes of the Liars, Lydia Lunch and These New Puritans
