1) Circe are a Japanese 3 piece experimental indie rock band from Naka, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.

2) Sigur Rós members Georg Holm and Orri Páll Dýrason have teamed up with composer Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson and the band's touring guitarist Kjartan Holm (Georg's brother) to create Circe. It's the instrumental soundtrack to The Show of Shows, Benedikt Erlingsson's documentary on vaudeville, circuses, and carnivals airing next year on BBC Four as part of the Storyville series. Circe was recorded at Sigur Rós' new studio in Reykjavik, and will be released on the band's Krunk imprint on August 21 2015. It features contributions from the South Iceland Chamber Choir.
3) Circe is a femxle apocolyptic songstress. She creates a cinematic, avant-guard, dark pop zeitgeist. Circe is her own genre
