Black Randy Image from Discogs Black Randy, born Jon Morris (January 5, 1952 - November 11, 1988), was the legendary leader of west coast art-punk soul band Black Randy & The Metrosquad. He was well known for irrational frustrating antics, infantilism, practical jokes involving feces, bizarre punk songs about gay prostitution, drugs, and Marlon Brando and avant-garde approach to music. Best remembered musically for the songs "Trouble at the Cup" and "I Slept In An Arcade". He also made an appearance in the movie Ladies and Gentlemen, The Fabulous Stains. He was involved with the short-lived record label Dangerhouse Records. Black Randy died from an HIV (AIDS)-related disease. Read more on Last.fm.
