Arrebite

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Arrebite started as a good excuse for two friends drink beer. In setember of 2002, Rafael and Raul have started in their computers what would be in their first record, "Bicuda EP". At that time, this name didn't exist, not even an idea of how it should sound or any goal to achieve.

As the first tracks were being done it was getting clear that all that beer was being useful for something and that the noise could get off those computers and amuse at least a half dozen people around.

With the name chosen and the aim to put this work (and alcohol) in a record, the work on a demo started, what took several months in 2004. After fifteen demos and a bunch of money spent in mail we got our only answer, from Phantomnoise, who wanted to release it in release a 12 inch record.

Two years more of work untill the record final master brought several modifications in the initial sound. The Angolan MC Dimaondog contributed in a extraordinary way in 3 tunes of the record (and other 2, still looking for a release), adding a bigger Hip Hop influence to our style.

In this period we had the chance to perform in several shows, with different formations between the three members, in Belo Horizonte and Sao Paulo. Who has attend to any of these, undertood what we want with all this shit!

Finally, in 2007, the record got done, as this website. Here we are gonna post news, Mp3s from the record and from other works and any other information about Arrebite. Stay tuned because there is a lot more to come!
