Artist Info

Adults

Powered by Audioscrobbler™There are at least three artists with this name:
1) Adults are an indie rock four piece from South London, England.
2) Adults (ex-Let’s Tea Party ) are 3 boys who have come quite a distance from their early days playing student house parties in Bristol.
3) Adults (ex- Necro Hippies, Small Bones, Rougarou) are a 3-piece punk band from New Orleans, Louisiana.

1) South London's Adults are a noisy pop band desperately clinging on to the ghosts of 2009. Their songs are a silly, joyful, and occasionally sad, look back at the tail end of their 20s, a way to grapple with breakups, parties, alcohol and loneliness, and looking hopefully into the future.

They’ve released singles with Art Is Hard and For The Sakes Of Tapes, and self released an EP (The Weekend Was Always Almost Over), which was subsequently released on vinyl by Caballito records.

They released their debut album, 'For Everything, Always', on Fika Recordings in 2022.

2) Adults (ex-Let’s Tea Party ) are 3 boys who have come quite a distance from their early days playing student house parties in Bristol.

They have played supports for Bloc Party, Mystery Jets, La Roux and Primal Scream. Their festival highlights have included Glastonbury 08 and 09, The Great Escape, Liverpool Sound City and a 2000 Trees headline slot.

They hit the road on two national tours and released singles through London-based Mi7 Records. They have received Radio 1 airplay from Huw Stephens as well as interviews on XFM and BBC 6Music.

“A fusion of kazoos, woodblocks and dirty bass teamed with catchy vocals and a wardrobe your grandpa might well be proud of” - NME

“Your next favourite band” – Huw Stevens, Radio 1

3) Adults (ex- Necro Hippies, Small Bones, Rougarou) are a 3-piece punk band from New Orleans, Louisiana.
