London based singer Silke teams up with Belgian electronic artist Peter Clasen. They first worked through internet. New Wave influenced electro pop with strong female vocals.
"If you like fat bass guitar lines and snappy electronic beats with pretty female vocals then you’re in for a delicious treat with We Never Met’s “Come Play With Fire.” It’s a new-wave inspired masterpiece, if I do say so myself. Yet it also sounds very futuristic. It overflows with that special kind of magic you get when the past meets the future in a song. Exhilarating, to be sure. It’s like a fusion of Ladytron and Miss Kittin. To that end there is also something of an electro-clash vibe to it as well." (Michael McCarthy for Love is Pop)
September 2019.
A full album 'Psychedelic Punk Universe' is released.
