1) Volcano is a punk/folk/reggae supergroup band, formed by Meat Puppets frontman Curt Kirkwood, Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh, and session musicians Mike Stand and Jon Poutney. They have released only one album (with a cheap, hand-drawn inkpen front cover drawn by Curt), which quickly sold out at Skunk records, followed by only eight concerts in support of the release. Currently, its only available form is a downloadably zip file on an mp3 site. The band split up after the album was released.

2) Volcano is a Japanaese Thrash metal band. Current line up: Guitar - She-ja (ex-Gargoyle,Animetal), Vocals - Nov (Aion, Zigoku Quartet), Bass - Akira(Youthquake). Released 3 full albums: Violent (2000) , Davi (2001) & Mythology(2011).

3) Volcano! is a noise rock band from Chicago, there are three members, Mark Cartwright, Sam Scranton and Aaron With.

4) Volcano is also a Jamaican reggae act.

5) A Brazilian Thrash metal band (Actually spelt Vulcano)

6) A German stoner rock band from Berlin.

7) A European dance music act who released several vocal house singles through Deconstruction Records in the mid-90s.

8) A South African Bubblegum/Disco group in the 80s and 90s.
