VENTURA is a Swiss indie-rock trio. Since 2002, those ex ILLFORD, ISCARIOTE and SHOVEL spread their own blend of noisy tension and melodic sweetness. Their passion for 90’s independant rock music leave them close to bands like HELMET, HUM, SONIC YOUTH or UNWOUND.
2005, Ventura is part of the soundtrack for ROLLOW, a Swiss independant movie by Emanuelle Antille. On the same year, they released two split 10” with DISCO DOOM (Zurich) and CORTEZ (Fribourg). The next year, “Pa Capona”, VENTURA’s first album, is released on Get A Life! records and collects good press reactions.
