Tribal SinfoniaData provided by DiscogsAmerican psychedelic rock/soul band from Detroit, Michigan, active from 1968-1972.

The group started out as Soul Sextet in 1968, but changed their name to Tribal Sinfonia in 1969. They were associated with Creem Magazine when it was located on Cass Ave. In November of 1969, the group opened for [a334594] at Jackson Prison, for a radio broadcast sponsored by WKNR-FM with DJ Dan Carlisle . The group held weekly outdoor concerts in Wayne County's Hines Park that resulted in traffic jams, so the group moved the concerts to Rouge Park in Detroit.
