The Infinite Three

Powered by Audioscrobbler™A UK based project formed by R. Allen (Halo / un- / Leisur Hive) & Daniel Knowler (Leisur Hive / Sweetie / Cindytalk), with bassist Sam McClaughlin (Debbie Leggo, Pants Nest) joining soon after the band's first recording.

Merging noise, improv, found sound, dub, metal, electronic music and anything else they feel like, The Infinite Three aims to take up where Leisur Hive left off and to explore paths which their previous band were unable to tread.

The group's debut release was the work-in-progress EP 'Medium Term Strategy'. This was followed by the first in their seasonal drone-collage series, 'WINTER SOLSTICE XXI-XII-MMX'.

A single, 'Is Erased' was released in February of 2011 with the debut album, 'Crust Of Utopia' following in June.

Another seasonal release, 'WINTER SOLSTICE XXI-XII-MMXI' was issued in December of 2011. The Winter Solstice series now being an annual tradition for the band and usually taking the form of one, long abstract sonic collage.

A new four-song release, The Rattle Belly EP, was released in the early Autumn of 2012 with an accompanying video for the song 'Feathers' directed by Peter Dahl Collins.

Robert Allen left the group in October 2012 and was replaced on drums & percussion by Paul Middleton (God, Cindytalk). Recording for the Songs of the Breather album took place in London at Willie Nash's Studio and was released in May 2014. This new album saw The Infinite Three expand their sound into heavier more groove-based material (The Tongue, Bone Star) while simultaneously branching into even more adventurous ambient territory (New Skin Breathers).

A year of varied live work followed with solo projects from Daniel Knowler and Sam McLaughlin after which The Infinite Three began work at One Cat Studios, London with producer / engineer Jon Clayton to begin work on their third album, Lucky Beast, due for release in April 2016.
