The Heart Throbs  Image from Discogs  The Heart Throbs were an alternative/dream pop band which formed in Reading, England in 1986. The band originally consisted of sisters Rose Carlotti (vocals, guitar) and Rachel DeFreitas (vocals, bass), with Stephen Ward (guitar) and Mark Side (drums). The band released three albums during their career, "Cleopatra Grip" (1990), "Jubilee Twist" (1992) and "Vertical Smile" (1993). DeFreitas and Side left the band in 1991 and the band disbanded in 1993. Carlotti and DeFreitas are the sisters of late Echo & The Bunnymen drummer Pete DeFreitas and The Woodentops bassist Frank DeFreitas. The Heartthrobs are a "femo" shoegaze /grunge band formed in Toledo, Ohio in 2022(?). The band currently consists of Tatum Hartford (vocals), Nathan Vogt (guitar), Makenzie Duncan (bass), and Sam Batty (drums). Read more on Last.fm.
