The Entertainment

Powered by Audioscrobbler™The Entertainment are a unique combination of Rock riffs, Funky grooves and Rap. On top of that they add trumpet and DJ scratching. As the sound engineer at one of their latest gigs said:

"I don't know the f**k it is you do but it's f**king great!".

Formed out of the ashes of The Insects a previous recording project, of David the guitarists. One of Londons foremost 'Surf' Guitarists. Regulrly seen on the London Underground 'busking' scheme. He and Achilleas met by chance playing with a friends band.

Rapper Blee answered an advert that no-one remembers putting in Loot.

Paul came on board after watching him play completely unconcernedly while the lead singer of the band stripped down to a pair of bright pink underpants.

Bassist/trumpeter Achilleas played with the Dandy Warhols and The Soul Destroyers. The singer is the amazing Sharon Jackson (Soul Destroyers).

The rapper Blee with roots on the island of Montserrat and an upbringing in England combines the best lyrical push of America with a literate and intelligent style.

They've played gigs ranging from a three day festival in someone's back-garden to London venues 13ft East and Cargo. with bands ranging from punk metal to a bloke called sexdroid who cut off his (metal) penis with an angle-grinder.

The idea has always been to make music that you could Rock-out and shake your ass to, like a modern day Funkadelic. Singer Sharon acts like a female James Brown with attitude! While Blee has great flow, impeccable lyrics and unflappable cool.
