1. Harrison Patrick Smith, known professionally as The Dare and formerly as Turtlenecked, is an American musician. He gained prominence with his 2022 single "Girls" and for producing Charli XCX's song "Guess" from her 2024 album BRAT. After performing indie music as Turtlenecked in the Pacific Northwest, Smith moved to New York City, rebranding as The Dare. His debut EP, The Sex EP, was released on May 2023, while his first studio album, What's Wrong with New York?, was released on September 2024.

2. The Dare is a band originated from Lombok island, Indonesia with members of 4 women which are Riri ( Guitar + Vocal), Desita (Drummer), Meigaali (Bass) and Yollanang (Guitar). The Dare was formed on February 2018. The beginning of how The Dare was formed started from Desita and Riri who wanted to make a band that is projecting women as main characters and is describing the real image of women behind public prejudice. In the process of creation, The Dare involved a lot of friends on expanding their creativity since Riri and Desita had never written songs before. For now The Dare has a debute EP “Inthrovvvert”, which consists of 3 songs. Inthrovvvert, Fameinkiss, and Gum Underdesk.
