Powered by Audioscrobbler™The Callous Daoboys are a mathcore band from Atlanta, Georgia. They have released two EPs, "My Dixie Wrecked" and "Animal Tetris," a single, "The Great Multi-Stage Rocket Robbery," and a full-length album, "Die On Mars," which was released on June 21, 2019 via Dark Trail Records (CD), Acrobat Unstable (12" vinyl), and Pattern Recognition Records (cassette). The band performed at Mathcore Index Fest 2018 and MIF2020, were featured in Altpress' list of top 20 rising hardcore bands you need to hear right now, and have been featured in many notable publications, such as NPR, Metal Injection, Brooklyn Vegan, Exclaim, and Heavy Blog Is Heavy. Besides describing themselves as a mathcore band, they have also cited The Dillinger Escape Plan, Botch, Korn, Slipknot, and Linkin Park as their biggest influences.

On March 19, 2022, The Callous Daoboys released a single titled "A Brief Article Regarding Time Loops", and announced that they were signing to MNRK Music Group for the release of an upcoming second studio album. A second single, “What is Delicious? Who Swarms?” was released on June 2, 2022, before their second album, "Celebrity Therapist", was released exactly three months later on September 2, 2022.

The band later released a single, "Waco Jesus" on August 25, 2023, not before teasing the release of their new EP, "God Smiles Upon the Callous Daoboys". The next single, titled "Pushing the Pink Envelope", was released on September 22, 2023. The band held a listening party on Bandcamp for the final single, "Designer Shroud of Turin", on October 19, 2023, and the three-track EP was finally released on October 20, 2023. They are currently touring across most of the USA and Canada, soon to be followed up with a tour in the UK, and a performance at the Download Festival.
