Artist Info

System Corporation

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Formed in Stockholm, Sweden in August 2011 when Philip Buscke Somervell (The Datsuns) and audio engineer Scott Newth (Rumpus Room) began swapping demos while sharing an apartment during the recording of The Datsuns 5th studio album, Death Rattle Boogie. Quickly enlisting the help of The Datsuns drummer, Benjamin Cole, plans were put on place to start work on recording back in New Zealand with the help of fellow Rumpus Room members Andrew Newth (Southern Tribe) and Kent Newth.

The collaborative effort that is System Corporation made a live debut at a 30th Anniversary celebration of Flying Nun Records contribution to New Zealand's musical history.

Representing System Corporation were: Kent Newth (Guitar), Andrew Newth (Guitar), Scott Newth (Bass and Vocals) and Philip Buscke Somervell (Drums). They performed Golden Mile by Chug, X by Bailterspace, and Nude Star by Garageland to name a few.

System Corporation are currently working on new material to be released in 2013-14.
