Sunroom

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Acoustic, power, rock are three words that Sunroom seem to have had attached to them from the beginning. A band comprised of a big voice, an acoustic guitar driven through a marshall + effects,
a solid, confident drummer & a tight and punchy bass guitar. Unconventional, but combine this with a fine sense of song craft, harmony and melody and this works.

Members: Pete Davies - Vocals/Guitars, Justin Leef - Drums/Perc/Vocals, Paul Griffiths - Bass.

With no representation, Sunroom have managed to kick quite a few goals: A spot on the Taste of Chaos tour at the Sydney Superdome in front of 12,000 people having been selected from over 700 cds entered in the Ernie Ball contest; Australian Surfing life selected 'Brand New Start' as the track for their 30 second cinema and tv advertising campaign 'ASL a surfers best mate'; Two songs featured in the December Freerider magazine cover mount DVD. A readership of around 30,000 in Aus & NZ; Two songs featured in the Peter Crumpton surf film The Sketch, distributed through the Asia pacific region. Over 60 shows in 2006 in Sydney and regional NSW including numerous trips to the NSW ski fields after a successful first run.
