Powered by Audioscrobbler™Were an original Punk band from Nottingham around the time of 1977 featuring :

Ivor Badcock on Vocals,
Terry Bull on Bass,
Galway Kinnell on Drums and
Jess Chicken on Guitar and vox...

(These all being rather blatant, tongue- in- cheek- psuedonyms, obviously :p)

Damaged Goods records re-issued their debut single ‘New Religion’ which originally came out on the Raw Records label on the 11th November 1977. In the same year it reached number 16 on John Peel’s festive 50.

The group supported many ther punk/new-wave crossover acts at the time.. some who went on to become critically acclaimed acts such as Dexy's Midnight Runners.

The band even supported american group "Cheap Trick" at the old anti nazi league hq which is know better known as the Forest recreation ground in Nottingham.

A few years ago the group and ther singe new religion were featured on the channel 4 prgramme " John Peel's record Box" and he apparently possesed two copies of the new religion 7'' becuase he "liked it so much"
