Smith's Cloud

Powered by Audioscrobbler™Smith’s Cloud (Evan Todd, Travis Bossard, Mick Szydlowski, Mike Janssen, Jo Heider) began making music in early 2010. Originally just the duo of Bossard and Todd, they set out to record an album the same year. Their first album “A Change of Days” was released on July 29th, 2011 at Duffy’s Tavern in Lincoln, Nebraska, their hometown. Since it’s release “A Change of Days” has been compared to the Beatles, Nick Drake, Johnny Cash, David Bazan and even Neil Diamond. Always big fans of 1960’s rock/pop, Bossard and Todd wanted to make a recording with the same kind of appeal, i.e. good melodies, snarly guitars (in places), and accessible, catchy arrangements. They have been called country, rock ‘n’ roll and folk. But like many bands, they are a sum of their influences with some extra bits of their own.
