Artist Info

Slag Heap

Powered by Audioscrobbler™SLAG HEAP founded in 1996 and consists of 5 musicians from the Frankfurt / Main - Area (Germany). When compared to popular bands, SLAG HEAP sounds like Blink 182, Lagwagon, Sum 41, Green Day, The Ataris, etc. Thus, we play fast guitar music (a.k.a. skatepunk or collepunk) with intuitive melodies and sing alongs.
Having played more than 80 shows in and around the state of Hessen (supporting famous bands like H-BLOCKX, Donots, Wohlstandskinder, and many more) the band was able to gain a lot of on-stage-experience. The first TV-presentation took place in March 2004 in the show "Newcomer", broadcasted by Hessischer Rundfunk (HR - german television).

So far, 3 CD´s have been produced by SLAG HEAP themselves. The current album "Frames in Stereo" is the first studio album. More than 500 copies have been sold within a few weeks.

More information can be found on the band´s website www.slagheap.de
